Author Bio: James Strait

Six decades ago, in the twenty-fourth state, in a county called
Jefferson, and a town named Arnold, a boy was born with an
atypical arterial brain structure. A third arterial loop within the
brain of this boy produced what some have come to believe is a
genuine third eye…an eye that guides and protects this now aged
boy as he caroms through the straits and narrows, twists and
turns, climbs and descents of life’s weird journey. Thus, it seems
somehow natural that this boy as a now aged man be chosen to
seek out and document and make commentary on the weirdness
of his birth place, the Show Me state.

Prior to writing Weird Missouri, James ( third eye) Strait served as
a very youthful Special Forces soldier, spent thirty years as a
professional aviator, married an artist and remains the property of
same for thirty years duration, fathered three now grown
responsible adults, became a grandfather times three, restored
some ancient houses and automobiles, started a second life as a
radio personality, interviewed the Marks of Weird New Jersey fame
and the rest is as they now call it…weird history. Oh, the author
also made far too many parachute jumps, ran around the world
twice, and is now a new and avid road bicyclist.
(Damn…modern road bikes are expensive! Wassupwiddat?)

James lives happily isolated in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his lovely, loving, and artistic wife, Sara.
