Bio: Joanne Austin Joanne Austin is a writer and editor who won her first (and thus far only) literary prize-a giant, stuffed Mickey Mouse through an FAO Schwarz essay contest-at the age of seven. Since then, she has gone on to write for two extremes: the financial services industry and Weird N.J. At the latter, she has been a contributing editor and compiler of the magazine's special edition Tales From Clinton Road. She admits to never having seen a ghost herself, though she thinks one may have influenced her once. She is now desperately trying to avoid life in a cube farm and lives a semi-bucolic life in the northwestern part of New Jersey. |
